In 2005 I lived in Afghanistan for 6 months to manage a project funded by The Visual Arts Foundation to construct a darkroom and teach photography to students enrolled in Kabul University's Faculty of Fine Arts. I taught Photo 101 and a women's-only Photoshop 101 course to 80 students.
